The head of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) said 6,500 hard-to-reach villages and 50 towns have been connected to the national gas network over the past 2.5 years since the 13th administration took office. He also said 3,195 more industrial units have been supplied with gas during the 30-month period, concluding the number of industrial consumers has soared to 32,518.
