Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, the Head of Iran’s Judiciary, has raised concerns about the global threat posed by the Israeli regime and stressed the importance of preventing further errors by adversaries.
Speaking at Tehran’s eighth annual Islamic Human Rights Award ceremony on Sunday, which was attended by high-ranking judicial, governmental, and military officials, Ejei paid tribute to notable figures including the late Palestinian leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah’s Fuad Shukr, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, and other prominent resistance martyrs.

Ejei also remembered Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, who warned of the dangers posed by the Israeli regime over 60 years ago. He underscored that this threat extends beyond Palestinians to a global level and commended the leadership’s efforts to unite various resistance groups against Israeli injustices.
In conjunction with World Human Rights Day, Ejei highlighted humanity’s potential for both light and darkness. He urged a unified response to counter those who claim to seek peace while continuing aggressive actions. Ejei called for increased global solidarity to establish deterrents against future aggression.

The Judiciary Chief also urged Islamic human rights organizations to educate the public on Quranic principles and challenge Western think tanks that justify violence. He condemned the recent war in Gaza, which has resulted in nearly 40,000 deaths and 91,000 injuries, along with widespread destruction and displacement.
Ejei criticized supposed human rights advocates who, under the guise of protection, have contributed to infrastructure destruction and crimes. He called for robust deterrence to prevent further atrocities and ensure that such crimes are not repeated.

Concluding, Ejei noted that the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has urged Islamic countries to halt trade with nations supporting Israeli actions. He warned that if Israel’s aggression in Gaza goes unchecked, it could spread to Lebanon and other regions.
