Iran calls for global action to stop Israel’s ‘sinister and racist’ agenda in Palestine

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson, Nasser Kanaani, has strongly criticized Israel for its “sinister and racist” strategies aimed at escalating violence and committing atrocities across Palestine.
In a forceful statement released on Thursday, Kanaani condemned Israel’s ongoing military operations in the occupied West Bank, urging the international community to take swift and decisive action to halt the genocide against the Palestinian people.

Kanaani condemned Israel’s recent attacks on Palestinian cities and refugee camps in the northern West Bank, where the destruction of urban infrastructure and violent incursions into medical facilities have taken place. He argued that these actions are part of Israel’s broader campaign of genocide, a continuation of the violence seen in the Gaza Strip.
The Iranian spokesperson stressed that recent violations of Islamic holy sites, particularly in al-Quds and the al-Aqsa Mosque, further reveal Israel’s broader intentions. He criticized Israel for implementing provocative and dangerous plans against the entire Palestinian territory, its citizens, and Islamic sanctities.
Kanaani described these acts as clear evidence of Israel’s agenda to expand its violent and criminal activities against Palestinians.

Kanaani called on global institutions, especially the United Nations Security Council, to break their silence and address Israel’s blatant violations of international law.
He insisted that the world community has a legal and moral obligation to act urgently to stop the atrocities committed by the “child-killing” Israeli regime.
In addition, Kanaani praised the resilience and courage of the Palestinian people and resistance groups in facing Israel’s military aggression in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
His statement comes in the wake of Israel’s largest military operation in the West Bank in over two decades. On Wednesday, the Israeli army launched “Camps of Summer,” a major offensive that involved hundreds of troops and airstrikes targeting key resistance centers in Jenin, Tulkarem, and Tubas. The operation resulted in the deaths of at least 17 Palestinians on its first day, with many others injured.

The international response to Israel’s actions has included expressions of concern from high-ranking officials, including United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. On Wednesday, Guterres voiced his deep concern over Israel’s full-scale military assault in the West Bank and called for an immediate cessation of hostilities. Moreover, Guterres criticized “dangerous and provocative acts and statements” by Israeli far-right minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
Earlier in the week, Ben-Gvir openly confirmed plans to construct a synagogue within the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East al-Quds, sparking widespread condemnation from numerous countries and international organizations.
