As the representative of my country and also the Tehran Times, I’m participating in a four-month program organized by China International Press Communication Center (CIPCC) for over 100 journalists from more than 90 countries around the world.
As a part of this program, we visited Fujian province in the southeast of China in a wonderful one-week trip, during which we paid visit to many interesting places and participated in a number of informative activities.

One of our visits was to Mindu China-Europe Freight Train and seeing the container cargo loading operation in Fuqing City.
While all aspects of the process were so interesting, the high speed of the train which goes directly to Moscow was so amazing, at it is 120km/h.
Fuqing is a county-level city under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Fuzhou.
Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, launched its first China-Europe freight train route in July 2022.

A cargo train named “Mindu” departed from Jiangyin Port in Fuzhou heading for Russia’s capital Moscow.
China-Europe freight train services saw solid growth from January to April this year, with continuous improvements to the transport capacity, efficiency and service quality.
The number of China-Europe freight train services increased by 10 percent year on year to 6,184 trips in the first four months of 2024, the China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. (China Railway) announced last month.

About 675,000 20-foot equivalent units (TEU) of goods were transported through the freight trains during this period, up 11 percent from a year ago, according to the company.
By the end of April, some 89,000 China-Europe freight train trips had been completed in total, serving 223 cities across 25 European countries, according to China Railway.
