Number of foreign participants in Iran’s intl. decorative lights exhibit up 50%

The 29th Exhibition of Chandeliers and Decorative Lights of Iran kicked off on Friday at Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds, IRIB reported. Speaking to IRIB in a televised interview, Hamidreza Manafi, the head of Tehran Chandelier Manufacturers Union, said 140 companies active in various fields are showcasing their latest products and services in this four-day exhibition.
According to the official, the number of exhibitors in the current year’s exhibit has increased by 50 percent as compared to the previous edition of the exhibition.
The official noted that Iranian producers of decorative lights have exported over two million dollars of products over the past 20 months.
“We have targeted a $10 million of exports for this sector,” Manafi said, answering a question regarding the export goals of the union.
