The act of sabotage targeting one of the buildings of the AEOI near Karaj, west of Tehran, was thwarted on Wednesday morning.
It has not left any physical or humanitarian damage.
According to reports, the Wednesday morning’s plot was stymied before any damage to the building because of the precautionary measures taken to protect the AEOI sites.
Officials are investigating the incident and trying to identify the perpetrators.
In April, an accident happened in part of the electricity network of ‘Ahmadi Roshan’ nuclear enrichment facility in Natanz.
Earlier in July 2020, a blast had happened at the same nuclear facility in the central province of Isfahan. Official had described that incident as an act of sabotage.
