Some 897 idle and semi-active production units have been revived in the country’s industrial parks in the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2023), Mehr News Agency reported. As reported, 1,240 new units have also been established in the country’s industrial parks and zones in the mentioned nine months.
The establishment and reviving of the mentioned units have created jobs for over 336,000 people across the country. According to the Industry, Mining, and Trade Ministry’s latest statistics, more than 59,000 industrial units are active in the industrial parks and zones of the country, which have created jobs for about 1.3 million people.
