Both ingredients are ultra-hydrating. Since honey has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, it can fight dandruff naturally. This homemade conditioner is pretty simple to whip up. Mix two tablespoons of honey with four tablespoons of olive oil. Divide your hair into four or five sections and apply the mixture throughout each section. Cover your hair with a shower-cap and leave it on for 30 minutes. You can, then, wash it off with your go-to shampoo and conditioner.
۲. Coconut Oil Coconut Oil is extremely hydrating for the hair. Heat four tablespoons of the oil for a minute or two. Begin to massage your scalp with it before working downward toward your tips. Massaging can stimulate more blood flow and, hence, hair growth. Dip a towel in a pan of hot water and then squeeze out the excess water.. Let the DIY hair conditioner soak for a minute before wrapping this towel around your head to lock in the moisture from the oil. After 45 minutes, wash your hair as you normally would.
۳. Egg Yolk Conditioner Eggs excel at deep conditioning your hair and reinstating their shine. Along with Olive Oil’s ultra-hydrating abilities, this egg and hair oil mask is a boon for those with dry, damaged hair. Mix two yolks with two tablespoons of the oil to create a paste. You can add some water to make the paste runnier and easier to apply. Separate your hair into smaller sections and layer the mask on next. Put a shower cap on right after and leave the DIY conditioner on for an hour or two. The last step involves washing it off thoroughly with a shampoo and conditioner.
۴. Coconut Milk Conditioner Coconut Milk is extremely moisturising. If heat-styling tools and chemicals have damaged your hair, this leave-on conditioner is excellent at undoing all the damage. It can even strengthen each strand and fight dandruff. Mix some milk with 2 tablespoons of olive/coconut oil and rosewater. Run this solution through your hair and leave it on for about 15 minutes before washing it off.
۵. Baking Soda Conditioner Baking Soda is the best at removing dirt and build-up from your hair. Since it has antifungal properties and can reset your scalp’s pH balance, it even fights off infections, dandruff, and irritation in the scalp easily. Just mix one-fourth soda with half a cup of your go-to conditioner. Apply the resulting paste to your hair and seal it all in with a shower cap for 15 minutes. Wash it off after with a mild, sulphate-free shampoo.
۶. Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner ACV can fight frizz, detangle your hair, and even enhance the health of your scalp thanks to its antifungal and antibacterial properties. It keeps the scalp and hair’s pH level balanced and fights infections like dandruff too. Mix a cup of water with two tablespoons of ACV. Keep it aside for a while and go on with shampooing and conditioning your hair. Pour the ACV over your strands and scalp next, like you’re rinsing your hair with it. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse your hair off.
